Wells Fargo recently began offering a $300 bonus for new business checking accounts funded with at least $500.
I immediately went down to my local branch and opened up an account on September 20th, 2017, and less than a week later, I’ve already received the $300 bonus.
This business checking bonus is fantastic because it requires no direct deposits, doesn’t require a particularly large initial deposit (just $500), and the bonus is paid quickly after meeting the requirements of the promotion.
There’s another reason you should consider opening up a Wells Fargo business checking account: Wells Fargo is particularly welcoming of customers who deposit large amounts of money orders, and there is reason to believe that Wells Fargo business checking accounts will be even more welcoming still. This is especially useful to those who engage in manufactured spending and deposit large amounts of money orders in their checking accounts each month.
Are there any downsides of the Wells Fargo business checking bonus? Unfortunately, there is one major issue, which is monthly fees. Wells Fargo charges $14 per month for its Business Choice Checking account. Luckily, this monthly fee can be waived with ten debit card transactions per month or by maintaining a $7,500 balance in your account. Personally, I’m going to buy ten $0.50 Amazon gift card reloads each month to keep the account fee-free. It’s kind of annoying, but I think it’s worth the hassle so that I can use the business checking account to deposit money orders.
